Who we are

Biz-z-bee Farm is a small, family-run fruit and vegetable farm in the Northeast Kingdom, located in the town of Lunenburg, Vermont. We strive to offer high-quality, organically grown fruit and vegetables, with the idea that if we can't eat it directly from the field, then we won't sell it.

Established in 1994 by Tom Cantin, Biz-z-bee Farm started as an apiary. Shortly after the farm was established, the first apple trees were planted on the property. In 2000, our first two greenhouses were constructed. And in 2003, the first round of 1,200 blueberry bushes was planted.

Today, we have six greenhouses in operation, an acre of blueberries, and an acre of apple trees, having planted 200 new trees in 2022! Although honey production has not been as significant a focus as it was initially, we still maintain around 20 hives and are adding more.

Biz-z-bee Farm offers a large variety of fruit and vegetables. We grow apples, blueberries, strawberries, pears, plums, and raspberries for fruit. For vegetables, we grow a wide range of items, including greens, spinach, kale, tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, squash, potatoes, onions, and more. And we have honey and eggs!

Tom Cantin and his son Dylan Cantin own and operate the farm. Tom grew up on a dairy farm in Lancaster, New Hampshire, where he discovered his love for farming. Tom shared this love of agriculture, farming, and beekeeping with his son Dylan. Tom and Dylan continue to work together on the farm, with Dylan focusing on beekeeping and fruit production, and Tom concentrating on growing vegetables.
